This is a really neat area along Bull Creek, just a few miles west of Austin. The limestone cliff is dripping with cool spring water, which seeps from the upper edge.
The flow rate depends on the status of the local water shed, and it’s not usually enough to get yourself wet, but it’s consistent enough that fern and moss are doing well here. Even the air feels a little like a refreshing rain forest. It definitely looks timeless and very different from the normal Texas creek scenery.
